The DVD set in custom designed packaging, hand assembled and autographed by Denis Brown will be shipped on completion in 2012 including DVD disks with over 8 hours of calligraphy videos, (for computer playback only; this is higher definition video than will play on standard DVD set-top players). Also included will be twelve work-sheets, each a 10" x 8" color glossy print in a protective sleeve.

Layering: Writing on top of Writing  Release Pending
Developing more complex polyrhythmic calligraphy with multiple layers of writing overlapping and interacting. The module includes a theory developed from music, where for example multiple voices in a choir can enrich and multiply the sound. Denis Brown gives thrilling demonstrations in media including wet paper, translucent film, and glass; and invites you to 'play' in the musical sense of the word.
